Walnut window sill with live edge

The live edge on this walnut sill keeps the tree's natural curve intact instead of squaring it off, so you get that organic, one-of-a-kind line running along the front. It's cut from solid walnut, sanded smooth, and finished to bring out the dark grain the wood is known for. At 58 3/4" long, 4 1/2" wide, and 1" thick, it's sized for a standard window opening, though we can trim it to fit yours if it's different. Beyond its main job as a sill, it doubles nicely as a narrow shelf for plants or candles. Every board's grain runs a little differently, so the one you get will have its own character, and we can cut it to length or swap the wood species on request.
